Who could forget
My first notice of the day was from Mad dog. He came out of the club house with a hot dog at the turn babbling ( not unusual for Jerry ) about a plane hitting the World Trade Center. Couldn't be a big deal - Play on.
As we approached 14th green there was a gathering as someone, Neil I think, got a call from home with the happenings so far. At that point only one tower had been hit and residents were coming out of their houses to tell us what was going on. The crew was in shock, round cancelled.
We gathered in Condo-G where Shawn was watching the tragedy unfold. See above as to why Shawn was in Condo-G. The squad watched the second plane hit the towers. What do we do now?
There is no way we could forget Sept. 11, 2001.
- Shawn slept in because he knew it was going to happen and then won the Forg.
- Mr. Wichard was banging his head on a tree and destroyed the telephone in Condo H.
- Mad dog thought the bitch at the club house had lost her mind. " She's babbling about some plane hitting the World Trade Center. Crazy bitch. Let's go"
- When asked if he knew what was going on in the World. Merman replied, "Yea, great, bring me a pack of camel non-filter"
