Baneberry Cup Results

After taking a commanding lead on Day 1 winning 6 and halving 2 match the Stars were leading 7-1. The Stripes made a valiant come back on Day 2 (Match Play) winning 6 of 8 only to come up just short. Final tally was Stars - 9 and Stripes 7. Great Matches.

Once again the boys dawned the Green, Red and multi-colored dew rags and battled it out over 12 holes (due to the early catering schedule). Winners were ????

Initiation of the "Jonny Knoxville" award

In one of the more somber moments that I ever remember, Bill gave a tribute to our brother Troy (2002 Don Forg Memorial Champion) and initiated the award remembering Troy's potential trip to Knoxville with only 19¢ in his pocket. The award is given to the man who overcomes adversity and perseveres to become champion.

Red Tee Scrambles

The round that almost never happened. The weather had become cold, rainy and windy and the whining little babies decided to skip the games and head for home. Thanks to Shawn and Burnsie for reminding us that we came to golf. The day turned out to be perfect and the gang got in 27 holes of red tee 2 man scramble, with Pete capping off the competition with a 300+ yd Drive on # 18. You're a zero.
